It is exactly eight months to the day that Glowworm and I met in San Diego so I figured it would be somewhat fitting to tell the story that I conveniently left out of all of my blog posts through my 160 days on trail. Enjoy, for what it’s worth.
Welp, I am finally sitting down to write my long overdue post-PCT update. The original plan was to have three or four of these suckers by now, but as expected those plans completely failed to pan out. Hast du Kristin mal getroffen? Ich glaube ihr wart euch räumlich mal nah.
Habe ihren Blog auch verfolgt und auch mit ihr mitgefiebert. Sie ist noch nicht so alt, hat sich aber glaube ich mehr als tapfer im diesjährigen Winterchaos geschlagen.
Umso mehr freut es mich, das die beiden wohl nun auf diesen Weg doch noch zueinander finden.
P.S. Man mag es kaum glauben das es so ein Problem darstellt, in zwei so zivilisierten Staaten wie Kanada/USA einzuwandern oder auch nur eine Arbeitserlaubnis zu erhalten. Da muss man sich also erst so „binden“…
